Our client, a world well-known automotive parts company is seeking a Launch Manager for their expanding team in China.
Assure that the core team is focused to support all launch activities and that each program follows the Program Gate review process.
Coordinate and conduct all core team activities, establishing priorities when conflicts arise.
Coordinate with change management group as needed on changes that affect program being launched and those already in production.
Assure all customer deliverables (product and service) are on time and high in quality. Reports program status to managers/customers with appropriate documents and in a timely manner.
Assure that all internal requirements of program launch are met, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, profitability and goals.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree, engineering degree preferred, from Four –Year College or university, 3 years minimum related experience or training.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and or board of directors.
Other skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Project, Excel and Word required.
